Who We Are
About Us
Rooted in faith. Committed to community. Open to all.
Our Mission
To know Christ and make Him known — through worship, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and evangelism.
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." — Matthew 22:37
Our Story
First Baptist Church of Nederland has been a cornerstone of faith in Southeast Texas for generations. Founded on the conviction that every person matters to God, our congregation has grown from a small gathering of believers into a vibrant church family serving our community and beyond.
Through the decades we have remained committed to expository preaching, congregational worship, and loving our neighbors. We believe the local church is God's primary instrument for reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
